WEPON Personal Protective Equipment
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is used every day by healthcare personnel (HCP) to protect themselves, patients, and others when providing care. PPE helps protect HCP from potentially infectious patients and materials, toxic medications, and other potentially dangerous substances used in healthcare delivery.
Filtering facepiece respirators (FFR),also known as disposable respirators,
are subject to different regulatorystandards around the world. During
pandemic or emergency situations, health authorities often reference these standards when making respirator ex-ample, that certain populations should use an “N95, FFP2, or equivalent” res-pirator. Respiratory masks can be divided into particle filtrating half masks (also called FFP masks) and respiratory face masks as partial or full face mask with replaceable filter elementsfor the filtration of gases and particles.

FAQ
Individualized treatment planning is offered to best address each person’s unique situation. Treatment may include group and family therapy. Group therapies are also offered for victims of sexual abuse and can be modified to accommodate male/female issues. Professionally directed activity therapies include indoor and outdoor therapeutic activities, and leisure skills therapy. We offer positive coping options for dealing with anger, loss, grief, self-concept and getting back in control. The treatment team works with each client in planning re-entry into the community to maximize the benefits derived from the program and simplify the return to productive living. Other community resources may be used to further facilitate healthy personal growth.
The population served is youth ages 4 to 21 years, with mental, behavioral, or emotional disturbances, which have resulted in significant impairment. The client is at risk for out-of-home placement due to interpersonal conflicts with family or community. Eligible youth must have a documented history of prior interventions that substantiates the need for intensive in-home services. The youth’s behavior problems must demonstrate an inability to function within the school, home or community as evidenced by the risk of removal from one or all of these areas. The youth may also demonstrate difficulty in cognitive ability such that they are unable to recognize personal danger or inappropriate social behavior.
The population served is young adults from ages 18 and up with mental, behavioral, emotional disturbances, which have resulted in significant impairment and inability to self-manage in the home or resident environment without supportive interventions. The client, if not treated, will be at risk of out-of-home placement due to unmanageable behavior, repeated hospitalization, and diminished self-care.
There are four current versions of STEP: Early Childhood STEP for parents with children ages six and under, STEP and Spanish STEP for parents with children ages six through twelve, and STEP/Teen for parents with adolescent children.
Our substance abuse program treats children ages 5-11 and adolescents ages 12-17 with emotional and behavioral health problems. Our services include inpatient stabilization for young people who are challenged with an acute behavioral health issue. There are separate and distinct programs for each age group. As with adults, our individualized care plans for this younger group make safety and crisis stabilization top priorities.
